Back to reality today, and with all the talk of the cast and crew visiting Italy, mum said she would teach me how to make a lasagne - yummy scrummy!!! Flour and water and egg, straight onto the kitchen table to make the pasta - it was great fun to be allowed to make a mess on purpose!!!!! Although a lot of the flour did end up on me!!!!

The tomatoes had to be cooked for hours until they were really mushy, and the basil and oregano were fresh from mum's herb window boxes...everything smelled amazing!!! We were sooooo busy that we didn't notice Basil sneak in and curl up on the floury table - by the time we saw him he was almost white!!!! He looked sooooo cute - I really wish I had that camera, I could have taken his photo there and then!!!!! So I asked mum if I could spend my film-money, and she said we'd need to ask dad tomorrow when he's back from his business trip.
