Thursday 5th November

WOOHOO! It's Bonfire Night (Remember, remember the 5th of November!), and there is a big bonfire and firework display being held at Beauchamp Park this evening. I can't wait. I'm a big fan of putting on my warmest pair of mittens, a cozy knitted hat and scarf (this year I'm rocking an uber cool stripy one that I knitted myself at one of our Cutie Craft Nights!) and stepping out into the cold night air to marvel at the big flames of the fire and "ohh" and "ahh" over the beautiful lights in the sky.

My favourite thing of all is trying to write my name in the air with a sparkler but it's much harder to do than it looks! We've had to make sure that Basil the cat is safely locked in the house so he doesn't get frightened by all the loud bangs. I left the door to the cupboard under the stairs open and tucked his basket in there so he can hide away and stay safe.
