Wednesday 2^nd May

We learnt a lot more of the routine today, and it is still quite simple which is really strange. The other strange thing was that we've still not heard the song we're dancing to because the CD player in the rehearsal room isn't working. The GOOD THING is that me and Abbie and Steph are in the front row, and Minx is in the back row!!! Tee hee!! We don't even know what we're wearing yet!! Hope it's something really cool!!

We had some time out this afternoon, so we went to the surf dudes surf shack shop which is almost on the beach. They stock the most amazing clothes, and I had a great idea about our street dance costume for the competition next month .... we've bought some super loud patterned surf shorts and some great white baggy t-shirts .... I hope Mikey likes the idea!! The surf dudes are great fun too .... Steph asked for a surfing lesson (even though it was raining!!), and they took us out for an hour .... we had to wear wetsuits which were really hard to get into ..... and surfing is REALLY HARD!!! You would have thought that with all our street dance experience we would have really good muscle control and balance ..... nope!! We spent more time in the water than on the board (except Steph who was really cool and she managed about 10 seconds stood upright!!)!!
