Wednesday 13^th June

If I hear "the rain in spain stays mainly on the plain" one more time then I shall scream soooooooo loud that there won't be a performance of Pygmalion because everyone will be deaf!!! Every corner you walk around and every room you walk into you can hear EVERYONE practicing their Eliza accent!! Good grief!!! And it's so obvious that I'm going to get the part because let's face it I am the best actress in the school!!! I'll practice a little bit at the weekend, but really Eliza is a pretty regular part so it'll be a breeze.

The other thing that's really annoying is that there are people practicing the songs from "My Fair Lady" ..... doh!! Do they not get that this is just the play, not the musical, which is why it's called Pygmalion!! But every so often you'll just catch a bit of "All I want is a room somewhere...." and then a collective groan can be heard because most of us realise that this person has got the wrong play in their head!!! Well, if they want to practice the song from the wrong version of the play then they're wasting their time .... and that's their choice!!!
