Tuesday 17^th July

It was the first performance of Pygmalion today .... and Abbie was not feeling well... I knew this would happen, she got herself so worked up. She had a fever, and was feeling just rubbish, but she got through the performance..... the show must go on and all that!! She was incredibly good, but the poor thing was sooooooo completely tired out afterwards she just wanted to curl up in a ball and go to sleep ..... so Linda Lush said she could sleep in tomorrow morning so that she's fit and fresh for tomorrow night's performance.

It was really good fun actually, even though I was only a flower girl. I enjoyed my one line!! So I helped out behind stage for the rest of the performance because after the scene in Covent Garden I wasn't actually needed any more until the curtain call. I kept popping up to see how Abbie was getting on .... and I could almost recite all the lines along with her we've been through it so many times!!! I'm so glad I helped her so much, and that she was able to give such a wonderful performance ... just so sad she's feeling so poorly now.
